Short Bo-Kaap walk packed with info

Humbling, a privilege and learnt endlessly
Tim in one word - amazing, a humble person and a privilege to share his wonderful knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for his "back yard". We spent two days with him taking in Bo Kap, Capetown central and the surrounding scenery of Capetown as well as a special visit to Kirstenbosch Gardens with 3 hours immersing in nature and finishing off with an amazing drive via the coast ...... The second day was spent exploring the beautiful wine country ... visiting historical buildings, visiting beautiful towns en route, having coffee at the Mill House - just gorgeous great coffee and cheese cake, We were humbled to visit the site of Mandela's walk to freedom ....... an experience that brought tears to my eyes as his statute faces the mountains. We drove through Durbanville, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, lunch at a fabulous winery and wound our way back to Capetown via incredible scenery .... Nothing was too much trouble for Tim and we left him feeling a strong connection of friendship ..... cannot recommend him enough .... thank you Tim for an amazing couple of days spent with a special person. Humbling, a privilege and learnt endlessly
Tim is in one word "amazing". We booked him for two days whilst in Capetown recently at the end of a 20 day journey From Victoria Falls. What an incredible way to end our journey. On the 10th September we did a walking tour with Tim in the incredible area of Bo Kap and learnt about the history, people and took in the incredible artesians dwelling within. From there we went to inner CapeTown with a walk through the area with Tim telling us about the history, gardens, buildings - at times confronting.... From there to the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens spending three wonderful hours wandering and soaking in nature .....We drove back to our hotel along the coast which was just stunning. On the 12th September Tim spent another incredible day showing us the beauty of his back yard. We headed out to the wine region and were indulged in superb scenery, beautiful old wineries, delightful towns, great coffee stops, superb lunch at a lovely winery and a very emotional visit to Mandela's walk to freedom - so powerful and humbling to see this and feel the emotion ..... We also visited an amazing private collection - Franschkoek Motor Museum - a collection representing over 120 years of automotive history .... incredible We meandered our way back to Capetown through superb scenery and felt so privileged to have spent two days with Tim. He is a person of endless knowledge, passion and enthusiasm and oh so willing to please ..... A special couple of days with a special person .... We cannot recommend Tim highly enough......... Excellent Tour with Tim ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
